Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art issued the following announcement on Dec. 28.
Inspired by the aesthetic vision of Louis Comfort Tiffany and with his careful guidance, talented designers and artisans produced stunning decorative objects. The production process began with preparatory sketches such as this c. 1920 design in watercolor for a four-panel stair landing window. These drawings are essential to scholarship, but they are also beautiful and interesting works of art on their own. In them, you see the powerful human component of creativity. This presentation drawing is among the objects on view in our illuminating exhibit of designs from Tiffany Studios. https://buff.ly/2HwUyyR
